Shipping Costs
Tinkle-pea ships to South African destinations only. We strive to get your orders to you as quicky and as cost effectively as possible. We offer a number of delivery options depending on which area of South Africa you live in.
Collection from Gillitts:
Tinkle-pea operates from Gillitts, Durban and you can contact us to make an arrangement to collect your order. There is no shipping charge if the order is collected.
Courier to your door (Durban and Pietermaritzburg):
We are now able to courier to your door in Durban and Pietermaritzburg. This option is free for orders over R200 and costs R30 for orders below R200.
Courier to your door (Rest of KwaZulu Natal, Johannesburg, Pretoria and Cape Town): This option is free for orders over R200 and costs R45 for orders below R200. If you are not sure whether your location falls into one of these areas please contact us before placing the order. Parcels take 2 working days to reach KZN, JHB and PTA and 3 working days to reach CTN.
Courier to your door (Port Elizabeth, East London, George and Bloemfontain): This option is free for orders over R300 and costs R70 for orders below R300. Parcels take 3 working days to reach Port Elizabeth, East London, George and Bloemfontein.
Courier to your door (other Centers not mentioned above): This option if free for orders over R600 and costs R150 for orders below R600. It will take a parcel 3 working days to reach most destinations
EXCLUSIONS FROM DOOR TO DOOR COURIER SERVICE: If you live in a remote place (for e.g. farm or resort) our courier service might not deliver there. Please clarify first.
SA Post Office Regular Parcel Service Counter to Counter (Rest of SA): This option can be used to ALL areas of South Africa. This option is free for orders over R200 and costs R30 for orders below R200.
A tracking number will be e-mailed to you once the parcel has been posted or couriered!
If you need to receive your order in a hurry please contact us as arrangements can be made, but these will result in higher shipping costs. Shipping costs for speed services will depend on the size and weight of the parcel and will be quoted if an equiry if received.
Undelivered Packages
Should any of the following situations arise:
1) Incorrect delivery address provided from customer.
Tinkle-pea will not be held responsible should parcels be signed for and collected from the delivery address provided.
If the parcel is returned to Tinkle-pea we will then contact you to re-schedule the shipping. Please note that you will need to pay the delivery fee again before the parcel is re-shipped to you.
It is essential that you ensure that the correct shipping address is provided.
2) Customer does not collect the parcel from the Post Office within the period required by the Post Office
Should you not collect the parcel from the Post Office timeously, the Post Office will then return the parcel to Tinkle-pea. We will then contact you to re-schedule shipping. Please note that you will need to pay the delivery fee again before the parcel is re-shipped to you.
Returns
Tinkle-pea will accept the following returns:
1) If the product shipped has a defect or a quality problem
2) If an incorrect item was shipped
Please notify Tinkle-pea within 10 days of the product being shipped if you have a reason to return a product. Notification after 10 days will result in the return not being authorised by Tinkle-pea.
Please be sure to read the product specifications before placing an order as Tinkle-pea will not accept a return of an incorrect item ordered.
Return procedure:
1) Contact Tinkle-pea by e-mail (jenny@tinklepea.co.za) or telephonically (Jenny Simon on 082 804 5678) about the problem encountered.
2) If Tinkle-pea authorises the return the product must be shipped back to Tinkle-pea within 7 days to PO Box 531, Hillcrest, 3650. A tracking number needs to be provided to Tinkle-pea once the parcel has been posted.
3) Be sure to retain your returns shipping receipt in case the return gets lost in the post.
4) Once the return has been received by Tinkle-pea, the customer will either be refunded their money or a replacement item will be shipped. This will depend on what is agreed between Tinkle-pea and the customer. |
